Hey! I'm Abby. So the real question here is: why am I a breeder and why doodles?
Read more about my journey into becoming a breeder.
Me
I grew up around dogs and even got my own puppy to train and love when I was 13. We were inseparable. Fast forward 10 years and I lived in China with my husband, 2 kiddos ... but no dog. We lived in a rented high-rise apartment. NO DOGS. Rules are rules.
After living in China for almost 13 years and also having 5 kids, we finally had the green light for our very first puppy! Except he was terror. Unknown to us, he had spent the first 5 months of his life in a cage. Needless to say, he was not ready for my energetic little ones or anyone else for that matter. In the end, we were unable to keep him. It. Was. Sad.
When we moved back to America, the very first thing I did was research good family dog breeds. Of course, I got us a bernedoodle! Sophie! It was the best decision for our family. If you've ever had a bernedoodle before, you know they are THE BEST family dog!
I was passionate about learning what makes a good family dog. Every family needs this! Not all dogs are created equal. I have taken what I've learned to raise puppies that are confident, easy-going, and adaptable. (More about our program below.)
Family and fur-babies are very important to me, so breeding became my passion. I chose to run my own small business because it offers me the flexibility to be available for my family.(With 5 kids, flexibility is key!) At the same time, puppies give our family something to invest in together and we love doing it! ❤️
That's my story. If your story doesn't have a bernedoodle in it already, I hope I can help you find the perfect fit. I guarantee you will love their laid-back temperament, fun-loving, goofy personality, and trainability. You'll probably wonder how you ever lived without one!
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!

Our family is very involved in raising our puppies. This hands-on approach is a core part of both our program and our values. We focus on ensuring that our puppies are comfortable with kids, handling, noise, and the activities of daily life. We hope getting a Hamilton Farm Doodles puppy is the best choice your family has ever made!
Our curriculum emphasizes raising puppies that are empowered, not enabled, to help them develop confidence and a belief in their own abilities that prepare them various roles, including therapy and service dogs.
We believe that the best family puppies are used to being around different types of people and can face new experiences with a sense of adventure. We are intentional to include many socialization and developmental opportunities at appropriate ages.
We use BAB curriculum to incorporate 10 step handling exercises to promote resilience and positive emotional responses in our puppies.
We incorporate five simple but proven exercises to help improve each puppies immune system, stress tolerance, heart and circulation, training, and overall well-being.
